Getting started with CryptoLoan is easy. But for those of you who are a bit unsure, we have plenty of instructional posts and helpful hints on how to manage assets in a safe & smart way.

To start borrowing on CoinLoan, all you need is a collateral asset to secure your loan. You can never borrow more than the value of your collateral, at most 70% of its value. Further, you’ll need to complete KYC verification. It’s a fully automatic process that takes only a couple of minutes.

  • Max.LTV is limited to 70%. So it allows getting more value from the asset compared with some competitors’ 50% LTV limits.
  • Annual interest rates start at 4.95% when borrowing at lower LTV limits and go up to 11.95% when using the max LTV.
  • The minimum loan period is seven days, and the maximum is three years.
  • A borrower can prepay a loan early without any penalties. They’ll have to pay interest only for the used period. For instance, with a two-year loan repaid after two months, we charge interest only for two months, not for the whole period.
  • A loan could be repaid using different assets. E.g., a EUR loan could be repaid using BTC.
  • It’s possible to repay a loan with collateral at a current market price. After repayment, a borrower will get a remaining part of the collateral asset.
  • A borrower can manage the LTV of an active loan by adding or withdrawing collateral at any time.
  • Crypto-to-Fiat Loans. Using your crypto as collateral, you can get a loan in fiat or stablecoins.
  • Crypto-to-Crypto Loans. With crypto as collateral, you may get a loan in the same or different coins. For instance, it is possible to borrow BTC against XRP.
  • Fiat-to-Crypto Loans. Your fiat or stablecoins may be used to borrow cryptocurrency.

A ratio between the amount of your loan and the market value of your collateral is a Loan-to-Value ratio (LTV).

To determine your LTV, you simply divide your loan amount by the value of the collateral asset. If you want to count the amount of fiat you can borrow against your crypto, you should multiply your LTV by the collateral value.

The minimum amount starts at $100, and the minimum period is 30 days.

On CryptoLoan, you can take out an unlimited number of loans.

We will send you notifications by email and push about the upcoming repayments according to your payment schedule. So check your email in order not to miss a deadline.

If you aren’t able to pay, the system will try to make an automatic repayment. To make it possible, you should have enough money in the loan currency on your CoinLoan wallet. If there aren’t enough funds, the system will liquidate a part of the collateral needed to make a payment.

A loan must be repaid every month, according to a repayment schedule. However, you can prepay it at any time without any penalties.
